Donation FAQs

1. How will my donation support DCIP’s work?

Your donation will help support our legal services and programmatic work. This includes providing legal aid to Palestinian children in both the Israeli military court system and Palestinian Authority courts; documenting and exposing human rights abuses against children throughout the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, and the Gaza Strip; and holding Israeli and Palestinian authorities accountable to universal human rights principles by advocating at the international and national levels to advance access to justice and increase protections for children.

You can learn more about our financial structure and where your donation will go by reading our annual reports.

2. Is my donation tax deductible?

Yes! Thanks to our partnership with CAF America, DCIP is able to accept tax-deductible donations through our website donation page. You can learn more about CAF America here.

3. Will any fees be deducted from my donation?

CAF America applies a minimal processing fee of 3-5% for all donations depending on the total amount of donations received. You can find more information here. Also, your card issuer may charge you a few cents extra for an international online transaction.

4. How can I learn more about DCIP’s financial structure?

Our annual reports contain detailed financial information and are published every year on our website.

5. I’ve made an online donation, but I want to do more! How else can I support DCIP?

Thank you for your gift! Supporters like you are critical to protecting Palestinian children’s rights in the Occupied Palestinian Territory. You can also help DCIP by sharing our work with your friends and family who may not already know about the harsh reality of life for Palestinian children living under prolonged Israeli military occupation. You can start by sharing one of six stories highlighting the experience of real Palestinian children, which demonstrates just a few examples of how Palestinian children's rights are violated.
