Donation FAQs

1. How will my donation support DCIP’s work?

Your donation will help support our legal services and programmatic work. This includes providing legal aid to Palestinian children in both the Israeli military court system and Palestinian Authority courts; documenting and exposing human rights abuses against children throughout the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, and the Gaza Strip; and holding Israeli and Palestinian authorities accountable to universal human rights principles by advocating at the international and national levels to advance access to justice and increase protections for children.

2. Is my donation tax-deductible?

Yes! Thanks to our partnership with CAF America, DCIP is able to accept tax-deductible donations through our website donation page. You can learn more about CAF America here. CAF America is DCIP's long-term, trusted charitable partner in the United States and processes donations on our behalf.

Canadian donors can make a tax-efficient gift by donating through our Canadian charitable partner, the United Church of Canada. More information here

3. Will any fees be deducted from my donation?

CAF America applies a minimal processing fee of 3-5% for all donations depending on the total amount of donations received. Also, your card issuer may charge you a small fee for an international online transaction if you are banked outside of the United States.

4. I’ve made an online donation, but I want to do more! How else can I support DCIP?

Thank you for your gift! Supporters like you are critical to protecting Palestinian children’s rights in the Occupied Palestinian Territory. You can also help DCIP by sharing our work with your friends and family who may not already know about the harsh reality of life for Palestinian children living under prolonged Israeli military occupation.
