Randa George Yacoub Siniora is a human rights and women's right defender. She is currently the General Director at the Women's Center for Legal Aid and Counseling. She began her career as a legal researcher and coordinator of the Women’s Rights Program at Al-Haq, becoming later the General Director from 2001 to 2005. She also served as the Executive Director of the Independent Commission for Human Rights from 2007 to 2015. She holds a master’s of laws in International Human Rights Law from the University of Essex, UK, and a master’s in sociology and anthropology from the American University in Cairo. She was also the chairman of DCIP’s board of directors for three consecutive terms from 2008 to 2014.
